Smaragd is the top category for Wachau wines. Achleiten is a legendary vineyard in the Wachau region, famous for wines with inimitable mineral character. This wine is light green yellow with silver reflections. On the nose very aromatic with notes of yellow tropical fruit and apricot. Subtle hints of white peach and papaya, white pepper and fresh wild herbs. The refreshing acidity balances the wine very well. Structured and elegant with an intense fruit sweetness on the finish.
