Triple distilled from a mashbill traced back to a notebook handwritten by John Jameson II in 1826, it's matured across five hand-selected oak cask types and bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof).

Five Casks, One Balancing Act

Distiller's Batch draws its depth from an intricate blend of five cask types: ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, and three distinct virgin oak casks sourced from Ireland, Europe, and America. Master Distiller Kevin O'Gorman called combining that many cask types "a careful balancing act," with each one contributing its own layer to the final whiskey.

A New Addition to the Reserve Series

Distiller's Batch joins the Jameson Reserve Series, the brand's lineup focused on cask finishes, aging techniques, and flavor-driven expressions that sit above the standard Jameson range. It launched nationwide in the United States in September 2026 and has already earned gold medals at both the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the International Spirits Challenge.

Tasting Notes

Nose: toasted oak, cinnamon, nutmeg, honeycomb, salted caramel, vanilla, and ripe orchard fruit.

Palate: dark chocolate and spicy toffee, with ginger, orange peel, and delicate oak spice.

Finish: long and warming, with oak, gentle spice, and fading fruit.

How to Enjoy It

Sip it neat to take in its full five-cask complexity, or build it into a premium Manhattan for a richer, more layered twist on the classic.

Product Details

Brand: Jameson, Reserve Series

Type: Single pot still Irish whiskey, triple distilled

Size: 750ml

ABV: 46% (92 proof)

Maturation: Ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, and Irish, European, and American virgin oak casks

Origin: Midleton Distillery, Ireland

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the ABV of Jameson Distiller's Batch?

It is bottled at 46% ABV, which is 92 proof.

What casks is it matured in?

It's matured across five hand-selected cask types: ex-bourbon, Oloroso sherry, and three virgin oak casks from Ireland, Europe, and America.

Is this a permanent or limited release?

It's a permanent addition to the Jameson Reserve Series, not a one-time limited release.

Order Jameson Distiller's Batch Reserve Series Irish Whiskey from Craft City.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0688/2902/0309/files/Jameson-Distillers-Batch-Reserve-Series-Irish-Whiskey.png?v=1792119673
