In 1960, Mr & Mrs T Bloody Mary Mix was born when Herb and June Taylor, sick of suffering through many bland drinks that claimed to be Bloody Marys, decided to create a consistent, delicious standard.It didn't take long before the Mr & Mrs T full-bodied blends were being served in bars and restaurants throughout Los Angeles. Once it became an American Airlines standard, savvy passengers started demanding Mr & Mrs T Bloody Mary Mix in restaurants, at liquor stores -- in short, wherever they went. Consumer demand pulled the Taylors' delicious mixer through the channels of distribution.In 1987, the Mr & Mrs T brand was acquired by the Mott's USA division of Cadbury Schweppes. Looking to grow the brand even further, Mott's introduced a Horseradish Bloody Mary Mix marketed to those who have always made the drink from scratch.
