Characterized by sloped topography and gravelly residual soils, the unique growing conditions combine to bring out the best in our Merlot. Aromas of dark red fruits and a touch of cooking spices. Flavors of cherry and plum are showcased with vanilla toast notes. Medium-bodied with soft tannins which follow through to a long, fruity finish. Located in Geyserville, the family now farms 100 acres of grapes (Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon chiefly among 9 varieties), and produces 50,000 cases of wine, all grown, harvested, aged and bottled at the winery nestled in the eastern hills of the Dry Creek Valley.
