The Banfield Vineyard Chardonnay comes from the northern edge of the Green Valley, a sub-appellation of the Russian River Valley. The location of this vineyard is ideal for growing Chardonnay due to the cooling influence of coastal fog. This dry farmed vineyard was planted in 1980 to the Wente Selection of Chardonnay. From perhaps the coldest reaches of the Russian River AVA, this wine demonstrates a singular nerve and precision.
Classic Banfield notes of candied citrus and caramelized sugar are present in abundance. As the wine opens up, more exotic elements of kiwi and grilled pineapple become apparent. A citrus-inflected minerality gives the finish a tangy lift and keeps things lively and balanced.
In 2002, the McWilliams family founded Arista Winery with a vision to create exceptional, terroir-driven Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Russian River Valley. With a commitment to quality over quantity, they have developed a unique collection of grand-cru level vineyard sites that showcase the distinct characteristics of the region. Under the expert guidance of Winemaker Matt Courtney, the winery produces small-lot wines that have become benchmarks for the appellation.
Arista Winery was founded by Al and Janis McWilliams in 2002 with a mission to craft artisanal, site-driven Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Russian River Valley. Arista Winery is committed to sustainable farming practices and only collaborate with growers who share their ethos and dedication to conscientious, high-quality farming. The goal is to showcase each vineyard's unique characteristics and preserve the natural qualities.

A. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
B. All products are sold in California, with Title passing to the buyer in California.
C. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Booze City damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Booze City does not take responsibility for minor damage.
G. Booze City is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
