Connemara Peated Single malt is double distilled in twin pot stills, both equal-sized and with a long and narrow neck, producing a light, fruity distillate. Matures in American ex-bourbon oak barrels for a period of up to 8 years which lends a rich malt and fruity aroma. The ex-bourbon cask lends hints of vanilla, caramel, and compliments the light peatiness within the whiskey.
