Dixeebe Arroqueño Edition No. 1 is a limited-production mezcal crafted by maestro mezcalero Valentín Cortés in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca. It is made exclusively from wild Arroqueño agave, a large variety that may require more than 20 years to reach maturity. The harvested agave is traditionally roasted in an underground pit oven. After cooking, it is milled using a stone tahona to extract the fermentable juices. The fermented agave is then double-distilled in a copper still. This traditional process creates a distinctive profile of cooked agave, earth, smoke, and vegetal notes. Bottled at 53% ABV, it delivers a rich texture and a powerful yet clean finish. The smaller 375ml presentation makes this rare, premium expression more accessible to mezcal enthusiasts and collectors.
