El Coto de Rioja was founded in 1970. 50 years that have allowed our wines to become the favorites for Spanish consumers in all categories: White, Rosé, Crianza and Reserva. This is possible thanks to our self-demand and the spirit of continuous improvement that characterizes El Coto de Rioja. In fact, every year the profit is invested in improving the quality of our wines. To do this, we have acquired and planted new vineyards to become the largest winegrower in the D.O. Ca Rioja, exploring new varieties such as Verdejo, Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc. We also built a transformation winery in the vineyard itself, in order to be able to process the grapes minutes after harvesting, thus maintaining all their quality. Thanks to the innovative and non-conformist spirit of our staff, our winery has the widest range of white wines and a philosophy in its red wines that respects the classic style of barrel aging that has made Rioja a world reference.
