Glenfarclas 17-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is crafted from freshly harvested barley steeped in pure spring water from Ben Rinnes mountain. Malted barley is fermented with 100% cultured Distiller's yeast. Distilled twice using traditional direct-heated copper-pot stills, preserving the whisky's traditional flavors. Maturing for 17 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks results in a rich aroma of butterscotch and smoke, leading to full-bodied notes of cherries, honeyed oak, sweet malt, and peat. The lingering finish offers hints of vanilla, sherry, and coffee. Awarded 93 points by Wine Enthusiast and the Beverage Testing Institute, and a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
