Mal Bien Papalote Joven Barranca is an expressive Mexican agave spirit produced by Ciro and Javier Barranca. Made with Papalote agave, botanically associated with Agave cupreata, it reflects the traditional distilling heritage of Guerrero, Mexico. The Barranca family works in Ahuacuotzintla, within the municipality of Chilapa de Álvarez. Agave is traditionally cooked before being milled and fermented in open-air wooden vessels. Spring water is used during fermentation, supporting the spirit’s regional identity. The fermented agave is distilled twice in copper alembic stills. Bottled at 99 proof, or 49.5% alcohol by volume, it offers a bold, full-strength presentation. Its joven classification means the spirit is presented without barrel aging, allowing its agave character to remain prominent. C. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Booze City damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Booze City does not take responsibility for minor damage.
G. Booze City is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
