CRAFTED BY THE ELEMENTS: Matured in a non-climate controlled warehouse, Pike Creek is truly a product of its environment. Resting in oak casks for a minimum of 10 years, while enduring scorching summers and bone-chilling winters, these dramatic swings in temperature give Pike Creek its unmistakable character, flavor and color. After aging for 10 years, Pike Creek is then finished in rum barrels, imbuing it with its rich aroma and subtle butterscotch notes.
The cornerstone of Canadian whisky is single grain fermentation, distillation and maturation. Whether rye, wheat, barley or corn, these single-grain distillates only come together when they have reached peak maturity. It is down to the skill of the Master Blender to achieve the desired flavor profile: soft, sweet, spicy, balanced.
