Pel©e, the volcano that lends its unique character to the terroir in which J.M’s estate-grown sugarcane thrives, the flora that lends nuance to the rhum’s open-tank fermentation, and the spring water that filters through its rich soil before proofing J.M’s exceptional distillates. Rhum J.M Master Blender Karine Lasalle expertly incorporates heavily charred barrels that convey smoke and earthiness, resulting in a rhum with wow-factor baking spice that still retains the verdant grassiness of the distillery’s younger expressions.
