Our youngest rum, aged 3 to 5 years in white oak barrels that were previously used for aging Oloroso sherry in Jerez, Spain. Ron del Barrilito Two Stars is great neat or on the rocks, but also works beautifully in cocktails.

Light-medium body with a natural bronze color obtained from its aging process. Aromas of plums, almonds, apricot, and vanilla with subtle smoky, woody notes. Caramelized fruit and sugar cane predominate among a delicate, long oak taste.

In 1871, Pedro Fern°ndez returned to his family home at Hacienda Santa Ana after studying engineering in France, where he learned about the process of making fine brandy and cognac. Applying what he had learned, he started to develop a rum recipe. By 1880, the formula was perfected. To this day, 140 years later, nothing about it has changed. It¥s still aged and blended in the same way and in the same place. Not even the bottle¥s label has changed.
