The Dalmore King Alexander III exemplifies the pinnacle of cask curation as the world’s first single malt to be meticulously crafted from six different cask finishes. Initially aged in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is then divided among small batch ex-bourbon casks, Matusalem Oloroso sherry casks, Madeira barrels, Marsala casks, Port pipes, and Cabernet Sauvignon barriques before being masterfully married in an in-situ sherry butt.
