A distinctly bold pepper flavor with a tinge of salt on the palate, along with a pleasant tingle. Flavor starts with a crisp, salty pepper and morphs into soft sweet juniper and charred red peppers on the palate, followed with a pleasant and lingering peppercorn finish.

Uncle Val’s Gins are small-batch botanical gins inspired by Zio Valerio’s love of gardening and native Tuscan cuisine. The botanicals are not only Uncle Val’s favorite cooking ingredients, but also happen to make exceptionally unique and smoothly delicious gin.

Named after August Sebastiani's great uncle on his mom's side, Valerio Cecchetti. Valerio or "Uncle Val" was a physician in his native Lucca, Italy and had a passion for gardening and cooking up to his final days. The brand launched in 2012 with one SKU, Botanical. Restorative and Peppered were released as line extensions in 2015.
