W.L. Weller Special Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey 1.75L is the original wheated bourbon, the expression that first substituted wheat for rye as the secondary grain, producing the soft, approachable character that defines the entire Weller and Pappy Van Winkle family. Known as the "green label" Weller, it's bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV) in the 1.75L handle format, twice the volume of a standard 750ml bottle.
Named after William Larue Weller, who pioneered the wheat-substituted bourbon recipe in the 19th century, Special Reserve shares the same Buffalo Trace wheated mash bill used across W.L. Weller 12 Year, Antique 107, Full Proof, and William Larue Weller. Replacing rye with wheat produces a rounder, softer, sweeter profile, with an outstanding burnt orange color.
The 1.75L, also called a half gallon, is the largest standard format for Weller Special Reserve and the best value for a regular Weller drinker. It's allocated separately from the 750ml and in smaller quantities, which makes it harder to find.
Approachable enough for everyday sipping neat or on the rocks, and a smooth, easy base for classic bourbon cocktails. The handle size is ideal for entertaining.

A. You must be at least 21 years of age to order and a signature of someone at least 21 years of age is required upon delivery.
B. All products are sold in California, with Title passing to the buyer in California.
C. The customer is solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and must abide by their local and state laws.
D. If the package is returned due to failed delivery, a twenty-five percent (25%) restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Shipping costs will not be refunded.
E. If the package is returned to Booze City damaged because of failed delivery attempts or refusal of delivery, you are responsible for the full cost of the order.
F. Spillage, minor damage and/or cosmetic defects are all possible to occur during transit. Booze City does not take responsibility for minor damage.
G. Booze City is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
