For William Heavenhill, distilling was a family tradition. By some accounts, Heavenhill corn whiskey was served at Bardstown’s historic Talbott Tavern as early as the 1800s. The limestone spring William used to make his bourbon was the same spring that later inspired our company’s original name: The Old Heaven Hill Springs Distillery.

The twelfth edition of William Heavenhill is comprised of only 30 barrels aged for 19 yearsîmaking it the oldest release in the series to date. These barrels matured on the 4th and 5th floors of Rickhouse A at our historic Glencoe site, as well as the 5th and 7th floors of Rickhouse O at our main Heaven Hill rickhouse campus. Bottled at barrel proof and non-chill filtered, this extra-aged bourbon delivers deep complexity and concentrated flavor worthy of its namesake.
