William Larue Weller Bourbon, 2023 Release is part of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection, one of the most coveted annual releases in American whiskey. Distilled in spring 2011 and aged 12 years and 6 months in warehouses C, L, M, and N, this uncut and unfiltered wheated bourbon lost roughly 66% of its original volume to evaporation during that rest. Bottled at natural barrel proof, 133.6 proof (66.8% ABV).
Released once a year alongside icons like Eagle Rare 17 and George T. Stagg, the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection is built around barrels selected for how they've developed over extended aging. William Larue Weller has been included since the collection's 2005 debut, and the 2023 edition's 133.6 proof puts it among the higher-strength releases in the line's recent history.
Unlike most bourbons, which use rye as the secondary grain, William Larue Weller is built on a wheated mash bill, the same style used in Pappy Van Winkle. Bottled with nothing added and nothing taken away, the 2023 release captures that wheated character at its most concentrated and powerful.
Sip it neat to take in its full barrel-proof intensity, or add a few drops of water to open up the caramel and dried fruit further.

G. Booze City is not responsible for any lost shipments, including but not limited to packages lost because of hold requests or delivery rescheduling.
