A ripe and plummy wine with chocolate and hazelnut undertones. Well balanced and full-bodied with a soft, layered mouth feel. Round tannins and a flavorful finish. Able to age or ready to enjoy now. Pairs well with lamb, but it goes well with almost any meat—beef, pork, venison.

This Cabernet Sauvignon is brilliant ruby in color with hints of purple at the core. It is an approachable, any occasion wine, with concentrated notes of plum, blackberry, and anise. On the palate it is fruity and firm with classic flavors of cassis, huckleberry, plum, coffee bean and toasty oak. A wine that drinks beautifully upon release or could be cellared 5-10 years

For four generations, the Mondavi family has crafted world-class wines in the Napa Valley. In 1999, Michael Mondavi, together with wife Isabel, son Rob Jr., and daughter Dina, purchased the land to plant the Animo vineyard in Atlas Peak, establishing the Michael Mondavi Family Estate. Today, the estate is comprised of Animo and Oso Vineyards, two distinct sites with unique growing conditions and terroirs, and the family makes wines under the Animo, Emblem, Isabel Mondavi, and M by Michael Mondavi names.
