Aged three years in French ex–white wine barrels and used bourbon barrels, this tequila is as graceful as an old Cognac. Scents of dried peaches, pecan pie, and turmeric are profound. Fig meets sandalwood meets caramel-vanilla as spice and apricot nectar unmask the most sensual of mature agave. Komos starts with perfectly ripe 100% Blue Weber agave from both the highlands and lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The pi±as are roasted in traditional stone ovens, naturally fermented, and twice distilled in copper pot stills in the city of Tequila, Mexico. This creates a beautiful Blanco tequila to which we add our Mediterranean winemaking expertise. Our three expressions of Tequila are each rested in unique and elegant wine barrels before bottling, giving them rich, yet delicate flavors and opulent aromas.
