Honoring founders Giovanni & Giulia Pedroncelli this Sauvignon Blanc, estate grown in Dry Creek Valley, has a great pedigree developing distinctive vintages. Like a great duet, it balances the essence of the grape, bright and captivating. There are two blocks on our East Side Vineyard, picked a week apart, to bring the best of the varietal aspects to the wine one with grassy notes and the other with a tropical fruit core. The estate vineyard blocks are situated near Dry Creek, and planted in well-drained soils, just like the best Sauvignon Blanc sites in other regions. Notes of grassy and herbaceous lead to lush tropical fruit notes of guava and pineapple. Crisp and lively.

Intense aromatics and ‚Äòvery varietally correct’. True to the Sauvignon Blanc grape, the bouquet has notes of fresh grass and pineapple. Lime zest, pear and tropical fruit flavors are layered with a touch of honey. Light-bodied, refreshing, and zesty.

Our story is the immigrant experience coming to life as the American dream. Founded in 1927 by Giovanni & Giulia Pedroncelli we are a four-generation family winery and grape growers. We are here for the long term and sustainability comes naturally to us. Our wines tell the story of longevity, craftmanship and integrity-they tell the story of vintage and vineyard one glass at a time

Pedroncelli Winery was founded by Giovanni & Giulia Pedroncelli in 1927 when they purchased 25 acres of vineyard, a home and a shuttered winery (mid Prohibition). They farmed and sold the grapes until Repeal and now four generations of Pedroncellis call this home. Located in Geyserville, the family now farms 100 acres of grapes (Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon chiefly among 9 varieties), and produces 50,000 cases of wine, all grown, harvested, aged and bottled at the winery nestled in the eastern hills of the Dry Creek Valley. Now women owned, the winery is led by President Julie Pedroncelli St. John and winemaker Montserrat Reece has been making wine for 17 vintages and counting.
