Located on the eastern hillsides of Dry Creek Valley on a high bench Bushnell Vineyard has been closely related to the Pedroncelli family for over 80 vintages. Winery founder John Sr. purchased the property in 1943, and have been sources of Zinfandel and Petite Sirah since that time. The vineyard was sold to daughter Margaret and son-in-law Al Pedroni in the 1950s. Their daughter Carol Bushnell now farms the vineyard with help from the Pedroncelli crew. Inviting aromas of white pepper, ripe dark fruit, toasted oak and cinnamon are up front and complemented by flavors of raspberry, cola, nutmeg and vanilla notes. A spicy and full-bodied Zinfandel with a long, rich finish and great balance between the fruit, acidity, and firm tannins.

Our story is the immigrant experience coming to life as the American dream. Founded in 1927 by Giovanni & Giulia Pedroncelli we are a four-generation family winery and grape growers. We are here for the long term and sustainability comes naturally to us. Our wines tell the story of longevity, craftmanship and integrity-they tell the story of vintage and vineyard one glass at a time
Pedroncelli Winery was founded by Giovanni & Giulia Pedroncelli in 1927 when they purchased 25 acres of vineyard, a home and a shuttered winery (mid Prohibition). They farmed and sold the grapes until Repeal and now four generations of Pedroncellis call this home. Located in Geyserville, the family now farms 100 acres of grapes (Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon chiefly among 9 varieties), and produces 50,000 cases of wine, all grown, harvested, aged and bottled at the winery nestled in the eastern hills of the Dry Creek Valley. Now women owned, the winery is led by President Julie Pedroncelli St. John and winemaker Montserrat Reece has been making wine for 17 vintages and counting.
