Dave and Dena Faloni are the neighbors behind Courage Zinfandel, a three-generation grape growing family located two miles west of the winery in Dry Creek Valley. While most Zinfandel in the valley is head-pruned Dave has trained his vines on a trellis. He knows every quirk of the soil and every vine on their 24 acres having farmed it all his life. Rich dark ruby in the glass. Aromas of ripe berries, cinnamon and white pepper. Full-bodied with plump flavors of blackberry, fig, cinnamon, pepper, and a touch of nutmeg. Mild tannins highlight this Single Vineyard Reserve Zinfandel with lingering flavors and a peppery, fruity finish. Ready to enjoy now or up to three additional years.

Our story is the immigrant experience coming to life as the American dream. Founded in 1927 by Giovanni & Giulia Pedroncelli we are a four-generation family winery and grape growers. We are here for the long term and sustainability comes naturally to us. Our wines tell the story of longevity, craftmanship and integrity-they tell the story of vintage and vineyard one glass at a time
Pedroncelli Winery was founded by Giovanni & Giulia Pedroncelli in 1927 when they purchased 25 acres of vineyard, a home and a shuttered winery (mid Prohibition). They farmed and sold the grapes until Repeal and now four generations of Pedroncellis call this home. Located in Geyserville, the family now farms 100 acres of grapes (Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon chiefly among 9 varieties), and produces 50,000 cases of wine, all grown, harvested, aged and bottled at the winery nestled in the eastern hills of the Dry Creek Valley. Now women owned, the winery is led by President Julie Pedroncelli St. John and winemaker Montserrat Reece has been making wine for 17 vintages and counting.
