Mirabelle is Schramsberg's multi-vintage brut sparkling wine, a style the winery initiated in the 1990's. Mirabelle Brut is a young, bright bubbly which features crisp acidity and vibrant green apple and citrus fruit from cool-climate Chardonnay, as well as body, mid-palate and richness of fruit flavor from Pinot Noir.

"This Mirabelle Brut engages the nose with generous aromas of apple, pear, apricot, and melon, layered with hints of orange zest, ginger, caramelized pineapple, cinnamon spice, and vanilla. A crisp palate of lime, Meyer lemon, and tangerine intermingles with fruitful notes of peach and pear, and finishes with undertones of baked apple, and cr®me brªlee."

Twenty years into building an outstanding range of vintage-dated sparkling wines, the Davies family set out to master the nonvintage or "multi-vintage" traditional method technique. A few years of experimentation would ultimately lead to the successful launch of Mirabelle in 1992. The grapes for Mirabelle come from the same cool-climate, North Coast vineyards as Schramsberg’s vintage-dated wines, and the quality focus in winemaking is identical. Unlike Schramsberg’s vintage bottlings, Mirabelle gains unique depth from blending additions of aged base wines from prior vintages.
