Rose made from Pinot Noir is a tricky thing to get right, but we really nailed it with this one. Almost no intervention was needed to make this wine. The resulting wine is focused, crisp, clean and highly aromatic. All the things a fine rose should be. The color is very light thanks to the very short skin contact and the exclusion of any press wine. On the palate, classic flavors of strawberry and stone fruit are accompanied by refreshing notes of fresh orange rind and ripe raspberry. The acidity creates a long mouthwatering finish. This wine is the perfect accompaniment to a hot summer day or a lovely plate of fresh salmon.
